Tenchi brings EY and Accenture alum to lead Strategic Alliances and support its path to leadership in the global Third-Party Cyber Risk Management market
Sao Paulo, April 16, 2024 – Tenchi Security, a rapidly growing startup offering an innovative Third Party Cyber Risk Management SaaS platform, announces Wagner Simão‘s arrival to lead its Strategic Alliances.
Simão is a respected executive in the financial services technology sector. His role at Tenchi Security will be to help expand its operations and solidify its position globally as a leading player in managing third-party cyber risks. Simão brings more than 26 years of experience, ranging from technology strategy to delivery, and a proven track record of creating strategic partnerships and alliances. Prior to joining Tenchi Security, he served as a Partner at EY, and Managing Director of Accenture in Brazil and Mexico.
The arrival of Wagner Simão comes at a strategic moment for Tenchi Security, which recently received a significant investment of $7 million led by Bradesco PE&VC, together with L4 Venture Builder (a fund backed by B3) and Accenture. This round of investment has contributed to consolidating Tenchi as the main player in Third-Party Cyber Risk Management in its home market, where it has acquired some of the largest enterprises in banking, insurance, payment, telecommunications and healthcare as customers. Moreover, it lays the foundations for the company’s planned geographic expansion.
