The new partnership between Tenchi and ABBC boosts cybersecurity for the brazilian banking ecosystem
Sao Paulo, May 31, 2024 – Tenchi Security, a technology company specializing in third-party cyber risk management, has partnered with ABBC, the Brazilian Banks Association, which represents over 100 medium and small-sized financial institutions. This alliance aims to enhance cybersecurity within its members’ extended corporate supply chains. Tenchi will provide a cost-effective way to continuously manage the security posture of the banks’ third parties, materially reducing the associated cyber risks.
Last year, FS-ISAC released a report titled Navigating Cyber 2023, which highlighted the effects of cyber incidents involving critical third parties on the sector. The report emphasized that threats to the supply chain will continue to grow. This reality underscores the importance of robust solutions for third-party cyber risk management, such as those offered by Tenchi Security.
Through this partnership, Tenchi Security will provide ABBC members with an exclusive and tailored offering. This includes implementing and supporting its Third-Party Cyber Risk Management platform, Zanshin, which ensures continuous monitoring of third-party security posture.
“We are thrilled to join forces with ABBC to deliver world-class third-party cyber risk management solutions to its members, fostering a culture of digital protection throughout the Brazilian banking sector,” said Wagner Simão, Director of Strategic Partnerships and Channels at Tenchi.
